Slingshot 2 has been in progress for a long time. Since my first Speed Pollution Series sculpture, I have wanted to do more of them but other projects have taken priority.

This piece's character comes from the pipe wrench that makes up the chassis. I turned the jaw of the wrench upside down to create a seat for the driver. The driver has the old school mask and helmet. I then took old nuts, bolts and other recycled pieces to create the unique vehicle where vintage meets the future.
