DUSTFOE #66

$1,150.00

The focal point of this unexpected ratrod is probably the R/C airplane engine posing as an oversized car engine. The body is made from a miners mask container that has been chopped and windowed. A few other notables are the skateboard wheels that I did NOT want to part with (they were actually on my board) but they were too perfect. I put in the extra design time to build a complete metal frame inside the mask container in order to strengthen and connect the rear axle to the firewall. Also, since nothing could be welded to the engine, I made a front subframe (including leaf springs) to mount the front drop axle, radiator and headlights (which are actually the coolest shaped bearings I’ve ever seen). It rolls and feels just like a toy. This was an absolute labor of love because there are too many hours to justify a profitable price.
